Making Mason a Great Place to Live, Work, & Play
Barbara is a proven leader and a voice for all citizens of the City of Mason. She has served for 12 years as a Council Member, Vice Mayor, and Mayor. Please consider supporting her campaign for re-election so she can continue the work of helping Mason thrive.

Barbara’s Career has been Service-Focused.
Barbara graduated from William Mason High School in 1978. Her career began when she left Mason to pursue her Bachelor & Master of Social Work in Kentucky. She went on to serve as a social worker for 25 years.
After living and working in Kentucky, Barbara decided to return to Mason, the community she adored, to raise her daughter.
During this time, members of the Mason community approached her and encouraged her to run for Mason City Council. They knew that Barbara was experienced, a good communicator, and passionate about the City of Mason.
Barbara was first elected to Mason City Council in 2011. She served for two terms (eight years) and four years as Vice Mayor.
After Barbara met her term limit, she was re-elected to City Council again in 2021. From 2021-2023, Barbara humbly served as the Mayor of Mason. Barbara’s current term will end this year in November.
Barbara considers herself a public servant and not a politician. She is passionate about making Mason a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
